We have just released some Altador Cup Counters which will allow you to keep track of your Altador Cup stats and show them off to your friends, guild, shop, pet page, website, blog, etc. To get one, you'll need a tdnAccount! Once logged in to your tdnAccount, simply go to our Altador Cup Coverage and click "Counters" (top link on the left).

Still confused? Here's how it works:

• Log In to your tdnAccount (or register if you don't have one)
• Go to our Altador Cup Coverage area
• Click "Counters" (top link on the left)
• Create your counter
• Copy and paste your code wherever you want your counter to appear

Enjoy! I'm so glad that the Altador Cup is finally here!

Hey everyone! Neopets has released a new weapon via the Hidden Tower, it's called Slingshot of Fire. Take a look.

Hello everybody!

When we switched our tdnAccounts interface to suit the new Y3 that we released earlier this month, we changed the "Manage Account" page around a bit. We suddenly realized today that you could no longer edit your Battlepedia layout choice. This feature has returned... just click "Manage Account" to update your Battlepedia layout preferences.

Yay! It has returned!

Yet another plot challenger is among us!

Check out all of Primary Grundo Bot RZ894's weapons and stats on his profile page.

After gathering some information and opinions about the new challenger, tdnBP's Content and Review team think it's best not to update our guide. The challenger is extremely powerful for newbies and beginners (since my RoS guide is basically directed at them), and those who can beat it are already experienced battlers with a decent/respectable weapon set, and a strong pet. Therefore, I don't see the need to write a guide for the more experienced, because most people said it weren't necessary because they already know how to beat him effectively.

Hey everybody!

As some of you may know, if you completed our cool Weapons of Mass Destruction plot, you unlocked the Sloth battlepedia theme. Well, I have some good news for everybody who didn't complete the plot: YOU CAN NOW USE IT TOO! Yup, that's right, everybody has access to the Sloth theme now. ;D

Now you can look at me all day!

Just go to the Manage Account page to edit your settings! There's also another Faerie battlepedia theme, but you'll have to figure out how to unlock that one (it was released a few weeks ago).

PLEASE READ BATTLEPEDIA USERS!

We've changed some system configurations on how sessions are handled on our Battlepedia. To help fix this, everybody has been logged out (sorry about that!). For some, this may mess up your data in your sessions cookie. IF you are having troubles LOGGING IN or LOGGING OUT please go into your browser's preferences area and CLEAR YOUR COOKIES. I repeat, CLEAR YOUR COOKIES! This will fix the problem.

Haha, this is worse than what I do sometimes!

How to clear your cookies in...

Safari (Mac): Safari -> Prefs (cmd+,) -> Security -> Show Cookies -> Rm All
Internet Explorer 6: Tools -> Internet Options -> Delete Cookies -> OK
IE 7: Tools -> Internet Options -> General -> Browsing History -> Delete
Firefox: Preferences -> Privacy -> Show Cookies -> Remove All Cookies

The Weapons of Mass Destruction plot is now OVER!

Thanks for playing everybody. :) It's been a blast and over this past week, our Battlepedia visitors have exploded due to this cool plot! Thanks for making TDN your #1 source for everything related to the battledome!

We have now released the winners names and official plot solution here. If your name is on that list, then you're entered to receive beta testing access to our new feature called NeoAvatars AND you've unlocked the Sloth theme here on our Battlepedia!

Could it be? The Return of Dr. Sloth plot is now coming back, after so long!

The Daily Neopets is, of course, providing complete coverage, which can be found here. While there are currently no steps to complete, or any indication of any battledome challengers we just wanted to let everyone know that TDN will also be providing complete war and battle coverage right here on tdnBP.

So, be sure to check back here if any battledome challengers are discovered to determine your weapons and attack methods! You might also want to take this time to train your pets a bit just in case there happens to be a battle, and there more than likely will be.

Search has been fixed! Sorry about that!

Hi guys,

For those of you who don't already know, we're running a cool miniplot on our Battlepedia called Weapons of Mass Destruction! All parts of the plot have been fully released now (you don't have to wait for anything new to come out) and you have until January 31st to complete the plot (after that, it'll close and winners shall be announced)! If you haven't already, register for a tdnAccount, log in, and play the plot (by clicking Plot Headquarters)!

*glare*

Hmm... that's weird. *shakes it off* Anyway, we're also still hiring for our Battlepedia. We've found 2 new staff members and you'll see more of their reviews pop up all over the site eventually (we're still setting their accounts up). If you're a good battler and have some experience in the battledome, please don't hesitate to apply (click "Apply for Staff" on the right hand navigation).

Additionally, we've fixed a few bugs around the site. The first one was a login bug. The second was allowing multiple accounts on our Battlepedia. Whenever a person registered, it didn't check our databases for their IP, but now it does. This will prevent multiple accounts. Multiple accounts are not allow and take up precious space of ours! ;(

Oh dear... the HQ has stumbled across a mysterious vault!

They think that this is where the weapons of mass destruction are being stored. Part 3 has been released! Can you crack the vault code? Use your brain and use Jerry, but don't think too hard! Your brain might explode then. ;( Now, we wouldn't want that would we? Oh no.

For those of you who are JUST JOINING IN, you can still ENTER the plot and complete it (all parts, yup!). However, the plot will officially close on January 31st and after that, you will no longer be able to play or complete it. So move quickly and SAVE NEOPIA!

Oh dear! People are ATTACKING!! Part 2 of our TDN miniplot is HERE!

[UPDATE] We had a programming glitch that didn't allow you to obtain your codes from the Robots. At 3:15 pm NST today, we reset all of your robot fights (so now you have all defeated 0 robots). Terribly sorry about this! As a little hint, Jerry is telling the truth literally all of the time in part 2 (not so much in part 1...)!

NEW FEATURE! Whenever you are on a search results page, it'll remember your search term in the search box on the right hand navigation. This is very useful for doing multiple searches. ;D Go ahead and try it out.

If you're a serious battledomer, please seriously consider becoming a part of our team, because we need you! Plus, you get to work at one of the largest and most famous Neopets sites in existence, which is pretty much awesome too. ;D

We seemed to be having some problems with weapons that had "reflected" icons. Truth be told, the "reflect" field never showed up on any weapon pages. Talk about a major, stupid programming error. This bug has been squashed and we're continuing to chug away!

Yes, we actually do reflect something!

Applications for reviewers and battle experts shall be opening soon! :)

Even though we have indexed Neopets' weapons pretty good and accurately as possible, there are about 100 weapons still that we don't have any stats on (due to the fact that these items are really rare, new, or not in circulation). In an attempt to index every possible weapon on Neopets, we've created a page that we Need Stats On. Please Contact Us if you own any of those weapons that we don't have stats on!

NO STATS?! What do you mean?! We always have stats.

He's a little mislead. Again, contact us to run some weapon tests. We want to take the weapon, run it through some chemical reactions, smell it, touch it, exfoliate it (err... maybe not), and the like. Just kidding! Anyway, thanks for helping us make this one of the newest and best tools ever released! It's been a major success so far!

EDIT: And for those of you who know how to test weapons, you can do it yourself. Saves us a lot of time. Thanks again!

We've been working on a few things around the Battlepedia and I just wanted to give you all a little update. :)

The first bug that has been fixed is the avatar bug. Whenever you changed your avatar from the default purple avatar to a custom uploaded avatar, it accidentally deleted the default.gif avatar (which needs to be kept on our servers, since it's a universally used avatar). A slight mishap, but all has been fixed!

We have about 100 weapons in our database that don't have stats to them. These weapons (before) were unmarked and just had a bunch of blank info on the in-depth weapon pages. No longer this is! Whenever there is a weapon that is missing stats or has unconfirmed data, you'll see a big red box at the top of the page (such as on Sparkling Acara Shield page). :) Please Contact Us if you'd like to run some weapon tests for us! ;D

Last, but not least, our rating system has been switched to a 10-star rating system. We thought a 5-star rating system would be fair enough, but because there's so many factors and variables to take into account when rating weapons, we've switched it to a more diverse 10-star rating system. Many of our reviews have been updated to reflect this new rating system.

Ten-star rating system: SECURE!

Psstt... we'll be hiring Battlepedia staff here soon! Be on the lookout!

Under 'The Daily Neopets Network' on the forums you will see the new forum for the Battledome and Battlepedia. Feel free to talk about anything Battledome-related or BP related. We also have a subforum for testing if you found icons for a new weapon.

Just remember to follow all rules of the forum when you are there. And if you haven't joined the forums yet, do it now! :)

Whooohoo! It's finally here!

I'd just like to personally welcome everybody to The Daily Neopets' newest and greatest feature: The Daily Neopets Battlepedia (will be commonly referred to as tdnBP). We have information on 2500 weapons, faerie abilities, one player challengers, defenders of Neopia, and more! We're your new and updated resource for everything battledome-related!

With the Battlepedia, a new feature called tdnAccounts has also been implemented. From here on out, every new department or feature we release (that will need to store some type of user information) will use your tdnAccount. Your tdnAccount will be a universal type-thing, but right now tdnAccounts only work with the tdnBP (since that's the only feature so far that's had a use for tdnAccounts).

Since this is a new department, expect some things NOT to work. Please report every single error and out-of-date thing you may see through the tdnBP ticket system (just click "Contact Us" on the right navigation). Help us keep our estimated prices and content up-to-date! Thanks!

Again, welcome! Go ahead and sign up for a tdnAccount now, log in, and click around (right now the only user-related feature is wishlists, which eventually will be made more interactive). Please note that you do not have to have a tdnAccount to view our information, it's just an option. ;)
