The way damage is calculated is: number of icons * damage per icon * % of damage based on attack ability you use * % of damage based on attack ability by your opponent. Each Neopet has it's own strength and certain levels of strength have their own damage multipliers. Instead of calculating damage for yourself, we've made this fancy damage calculator tool for you.
NOTE - Neopets has put a “random” factor into the equation. With this in the equation, you can lose or gain up to 10% damage (this is the Range field).
